Jim Zirkle had a love for people that very few men have. His hunger
was to see young men and women changed by the power of the Word of God. He
knew what the Word had done in his own life and he wanted to see that same
power change the lives of thousands of others.
In 1981, the Lord dropped Bible School training in the heart of Pastor Jim.
Our first graduating class in Guatemala was 19 students and the second year
it doubled and then tripled. We further expanded into all of Central America
taking the Word of God so that God’s people could be converted from
religion. Today, we have graduated over 29,000 students throughout Belize,
Cuba, Mexico, the six countries in Central America, Bolivia, Brazil, and
Paraguay in South America.

Some of the greatest days of his life were when he was able to speak
to a graduating class and commission them to take that same Word to the
nations. His faith had turned to sight and his dreams had become a reality
before his life on this earth ended on November 1, 1998, when our Douglas
DC-3 aircraft went down in Guatemala due to Hurricane Mitch.
Dr. Jim Zirkle had a passion, a drive on the inside of him that helped him
to accomplish great things for God in a short period of time. The vision
that the Lord gave to him has impacted the nation of Guatemala and kept it
from falling into the hands of Communism.
By contributing to the training of the students of LWT through
giving towards their scholarships, one has a part in training laborers for
the end time harvest that will impact towns and nations.
