In 1979, the seeds of Living Water Teaching
were planted in the country of Guatemala by Pastor Jim and Marion Zirkle.
Cultivated and nurtured by the Zirkles, the work of this ministry has grown
to include outreaches in eleven countries around the world. Sending
The Word of God forth by way of Bible schools, evangelistic campaigns,
medical clinics, Operation Shoebox, and through the ministries of the
graduates of the Bible Institutes in each of these countries.
Mercy Wings International (MWI) was birthed to complement the mission of
Living Water Teaching in Guatemala and surrounding countries. Aircraft
would prove to be a valuable asset, on which the ministry mission could move
forward.
The fleet grew to include: single, multi-engine, piston, and turbo-prop
aircraft. After a tragic accident in November of 1998, Mercy Wings
would lay dormant for over 10 years.
The many aircraft that once served Living Water Teaching and the people
of Guatemala have long since been placed into service elsewhere outside the
ministry save one, the last to join the Mercy Wings team, a Cessna T206H.

Today, Mercy Wings
International again stands ready to take flight, providing air
services to further the mission of Living Water Teaching by speeding the
Gospel of Jesus Christ to the people of Central America. You are invited
to reconnect with the mission and ministry.
