Dear Covenant Partners:

Greetings in the wonderful, precious, and matchless name of Jesus! Oh, what a good and caring God we serve! The heartbeat of Operation Shoebox is to share this God with a lost and hurting world! As Jesus’ return draws ever nearer, we see and hear of tragedy happening all around the world. Many people do not know our true and loving God. They need to know that there is hope and help for what they face, each day in life.

John 3:16-17, states that “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish but have everlasting life. God did not come into this world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him, might be saved.” Then, in John 10:10, Jesus said, “The thief does not come, except to steal, kill and destroy, I am come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly! “

We may not all be able to physically go around the world to help rescue those who are hurting and in need; but, we all can help in our own area of influence. The great commission is a command to all believers… We all have a part in reaching this world for Christ. Our sphere of influence in this ministry is Latin America. Here in Latin America, there is ample evidence of the ravages of sin and poverty and other types of destruction, affecting the lives of these people… These are people who need to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Through Operation Shoebox, we have an opportunity to share this Good News with thousands of children and adults, each year. With the help of our partners, we obtain new toys and gifts throughout the year, and distribute them to children in need during the Christmas Season. At each distribution, we share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and provide the children and adults with an opportunity to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. These children either live in orphanages, or in very poor families… Some even live on the streets. Most of these children would not receive anything for Christmas without our support. The toys and gifts we share, bring joy and hope to the children, and let them know that someone cares for them… Operation Shoebox is a tool that God has given us to open the hearts of these precious people to receive God’s love.

You can help: Fill shoeboxes with toys for boys or girls; Send toys; Or, send finances to help buy gifts for the children, or help with shipping expenses. You can even go overseas on our mission trip to help distribute the toys to the children! Some people can pray, some can give, and some can go… Every seed is vital and necessary. It truly takes all of us working together to bring God’s love, and caring help, to a lost and hurting world. Let us hear from you today! We do not take your support lightly….. We understand that it represents your time, energy, labor, and resources. We pray over you -- our partners, on a regular basis, and we believe the principle stated in Ephesians 6:8, “...knowing that whatever good anyone does, he will receive the same from the Lord…” Therefore, as a result of your seed, we expect God to minister to your own family, business, or ministry! Praise the Lord; we serve a good, loving God… A God who cares and wants to give life more abundantly!
